Spock FAQ: Change to Spock Power Users Group- limited access to it now
The Spock Power Users Group on Google Groups has become a limited-access group, dedicated to Brainstorming 2.0 with the people interested to improve Spock, the first People Search Engine 2.0 on the Web.
Jay, Group creator and moderator, has explained this change to the Group Members:
I have made this group more exclusive since now only you and people invited by you or Spock will be able to talk on this group. I want to really have this group for discussing future roadmap, confidential ideas, etc.
In order to do that, I do not think it makes to share such private ideas and thoughts with everyone except the most trusted of Spock users. Which are you.
btw, apart from this group that will be used for brainstorming 2.0 with Power Users, there are two other places for Spock fans, supporters and just curious people:
I am one of LinkedIn's Top 50 most-conected users (src: www.toplinked.com)and a PodCaster on The Art of Business Networking (http://connections.thepodcastnetwork.com)
I've just recently joined Spock - and am happy to have made the Top 1000 Spock Power list already.
Looking forward to interacting with other members and contributing more to Spock's growth over coming months & years.

What constitutes a Spock Power User? My rank is 94 on Spock and I am in the top 1% - if that is not a "Power User" I cannot imagine what is... Is it a popularity contest or did anyone actually look to see who uses Spock on an almost daily basis and RECOMMENDS Spock to their sizable networks on LinkedIn, Marzar, facebook, Ecademy, Xing, Naymz, Ning, Twitter, etc., etc.?

Roberta, thank you for your thoughts!
in fact today the title Spock Power Users is just the name of that group on Google, where the most Spock supporters/ evangelists of it perform the brainstorming 2.0 about how to improve Spock :)
it's not about that one becomes "power user" after having achieved some big amount of Spock Power or gets a big number of trusted connection or etc.
Although I see most people have added the "Power User" tag to their tag list just because they "feel" that power :)
in your case- if you feel you use Spock intensively, know about it a lot, understands the TRUST principle and the other basic ideas of it- so you are Power User! And if you wish to join our Group for Brainstorming 2.0- tell me I'll invite you there, 'coz its a limited access group.
x Stan:
I am very glad you find this adventure interesting and useful. for joining another people that feel it like you- here is a group on Facebook, if you are a Facebook fan, about Spock:
