Single- Login- Logic, the OpenID, becomes widely accepted- finally a standard for Open Social Web?

I love so much the idea of OpenID, and I was advising few times already to the Spock guys to be supporting OpenID as (alternative in the beginning) a method to login to Spock.

OpenID is considered today by several Social Web evangelists/ strategists as a Single- Login- Logic for the coming Open Social Web (2008 is expected to be the year of it!).

With this news of today I think OpenID now has all the chances to become the real standard for the Web of tomorrow! So I believe Spock, as a Single Point of Contact by Keyword, could not ignore the need for an urgent integration with OpenID :)

We'll see it soon I hope!

Google, IBM and VeriSign in talks to join OpenID

Keywords: IBM, Open Social Web, OpenID, Social Web, Spock, Techcrunch, VeriSign, Web 2.0, Google
