Zilok wins the second edition of Startup 2.0 website contest
Zilok, an online rental marketplace from France, has won the second editio of the Startup 2.0 website contest. UnLtdWorld (UK) and iFoods (Ireland) took second and third places. More than 300 projects took part in the contest, from which 10 were selected by online votes and a jury in order to participate in the final in Barcelona. Besides Zilok, UnLtdWorld and iFoods, the 10 selected projects were Bubok, Geospace, AllRise, Planetaki, Talicious, Learnit and Wolpy.
Zilok is a centralized online rental marketplace, an ebay for rental in a certain way. Zilok allows anyone, whether individuals or professionals, to rent or offer for rent anything in a few clicks. A geolocalisation tool present any item offered for rent nearby. The whole rental process happens online so that the reservation of the item happens online and the acceptation by the owner as well. A calendar presents the availability of the item directly online.
