We hope that you are enjoying the group discussion feature we launched a few weeks ago. Group managers are now hosting 100,000's of interesting discussions on LinkedIn.
This week, we're providing you with brand new tools to make your group even more valuable to your members: news sharing and discussion features.
This Friday users will be able to share, recommend, and discuss news articles within LinkedIn groups. Any member of a group will be able to submit an article for reading and discussion.
We have built in several controls for the group manager:
- Managers (as well as submitters) are able to delete any article that has been submitted or is being discussed.
- Managers (as well as authors) are able to delete any comment within a discussion.
- Managers are able to turn the news sharing and discussion features off entirely within the management tab.
Make sure you check out your group(s) this Friday and start a lively discussion around news relevant to your group.
