Now (soon in June) you can choose a USER-NAME for your Facebook profile!

It's a very good move for Facebook I believe!

Always seen my profile URL as something UID=XXXXX, not really social, I was asking myself several times why Facebook couldn't let us use for example our name.surname combination as profile URL.

Now it will be possible-

Starting on Saturday, June 13th, at 6:01am, you'll be able to choose a username for your Facebook account to easily direct friends, family, and coworkers to your profile.

To select your username, visit the link below after 6:01am on June 13th:
http://www.facebook.com/username/
