Creating a new Event for your Google Calendar from an e-mail, WTH?
In my Gmail interface if I open an email and select from its upper menu: MORE ACTIONS-> CREATE EVENT, I see a sh&t happening. Google opens for me a cool "pre-compiled" form with all fields blank and dates set as "?????".
Could this be called "Convert an email to Event"? :) Look at the picture- maybe it's a bug of my environment only?
Actually we are using a double license product that acts as Exchange and other groupware are doing.
That product is called Zarafa (http://www.zarafa.com) and it's a great and lightweight solution.
We love cloud computing and SAS solutions but we don't love the big power BigG is getting on transversal market.
By the way... we appreciated that BigG is adding new features on their products: competitors need to become more aggressive and full of features.
On a side there will be Goliath (BigG, BigM and so on) with unbalanced price and marketing presence.
On the other side there will be Davide(s) (other medium and small software producer...open and closed source) with good balance beetween cost per user and features.
I hope there will be room for both sides.
