Marcello del Bono (“2PM Business Change”)- the first business coach for MilanIN

There is another important happening (or still “to happen”) at MilanIN- thanks to initiative of Marcello del Bono, MilanIN Member and Director of “2PM Business Change”, MilanIN has got a new business coach!

We define the scope (and also the title) of this project as "Fare innovazione a MilaniIn. Strategie che funzionano", or “Make innovation in MilanIN. Strategy that works”.

Marcello, thanks to his professional expertise (consult his LinkedIN Profile) and entrepreneurial initiative (“2PM Business Change”), has proposed to MilanIN to help us improving management of this complex and unusual project. The expected benefits should be in a better implementation of the Strategy translated to Operative Planning and its following implementation through the attention to related areas such as responsibility, motivation, communication, investments and etc.

It's really a gift for MilanIN to have the people like Marcello del Bono among the Members. We hope this project will be highly efficient for all involved parties!

P.S. A personal comment could be that I met Marcello for the first time even before MilanIN (if I remember well he was not yet a Member), it was a “professional” networking on LinkedIN.

I remember then he wrote an article with analysis of some major trends for Digital Television industry and technology, and its prospects for Italy. It was this article I think, or this one, I am not sure. So that time Marcello has contacted me on LinkedIN to ask my opinion (WoW!) about the written and then later I have also presented Marcello to Ettore Sforza- the best manager I've even had!, since Ettore was that time the Head of Strategy for the company we were working for.

P.P.S. now both, Marcello del Bono and Ettore Sforza ha MilanIN Members and it's very good :)

  1. Andrey,

thank you for your comment. For me, it's both an honour and a pleasure to help a young and dynamic organisation like MilanIn to accomplish its goals.

Italian economic - and social - environment had not a great time during last years. There was lack of innovation, a decline in productivity, the difficulties in reacting to rapidly changing marketing and technologies. All these factors pushing for a lost in the italian share of world commerce, a poorer country, a worsening in the quality of our living.

But altough problems seem somtetimes impossibile to solve, decline is not unavoidable. The future is still in our hands: any great initiative speaking to passion, heart and soul of people like MilanIn do, is posing a brick to a better future society.

Any organisation, public, private or not-for-profit, should focus on the capabilities to execute strategy in order to foster innovation, gain competitiveness, create value for its stakeholders and customers, and finally, to create a better life for all of us.

2PM exists to satisfy this need.

Thus, I am sure we'll both enjoy and gain personal and professional value by the Strategy Innovation project, ending the 2006 and strating year 2007 in the best way.

For the moment, I wish MilanIn a great christmas, and I look forward to see you and the others in a few days.
