Andrea has invited also his colleagues- the manager, Eric Didier (COO) and Marketing Head- Julie Laurent. It was a meeting of friends, nothing official.
We had a very friendly and easy discussion, about Social Networking and how Viadeo has become one of big the European Leaders from a small group of Paris-based entrepreneurs, we talked of course about LinkedIN (the Milan-IN roots) and the possible future for this Network taking into account the recent happenings around them, and of course we discussed the role of off-line Events for Social Business Networks, the core business of Milan-IN.
Eric was very convincing in his reasoning: Viadeo will have the great success with their current expansion to the most social countries! And I think he has confirmed to us that Milan-IN is probably one of the most strong European success story of transformation of a Social crowd to the Club of “good friends” :)
Nice. And now I am absolutely happy for Andrea,- he has found the best environment possible for such passionated, professional, self-motivated and very honest guy as we know him.
So good luck to Viadeo in Italy! Andrea will take care of them :) J/K!
