LeeAnn Prescott, Research Director at Hitwise, has written this recently-
LinkedIn Traffic Up 323% in Past Year, Users More Likely to be on Gmail
Where she starts the article with- "Have you been getting a flurry in LinkedIn invitations in the past few months?". And that's why I've read it. I am always in getting and sending lots of invitations on LinkedIn, most of them are from Milan-IN Members, sometimes from the people I want to connect/ they want to connect with be because of some similar professional interests and projects I am currently working on.
The article is telling us that LinkedIn visits are growing fast (sure, who had doubts?), and that LinkedIn users use mostly, and always more, Gmail for reading their LikedIn (other social communiction?) messages.
Well, I am really happy for both, LinkedIn and Google ;)
I also use Gmail everywhere, I have lots of mailboxes for different purposes... and I am just waiting when the "Judgement Day" comes so Google will tell us Gmail is not free anymore or they will cut the useful features like POP/forwarding.
I hope this won't happen soon!
