I remember to have seen this Job Offer on LinkedIn few month ago for the first time- Developer Network Manager at LinkedIn. That time the message has disappeared after a few weeks on-line. I'd been contacted the Job owner (I am not sure it was Lucian Beebe that time also) and some other VIP people I know in LinkedIn, to ask if the position is only available for its current location (San Francisco Bay Area), or the group could be once expanded in the future to EU... but the answer was no :(
Just have a look at the job description-
We are looking for a developer network manager who is part developer, part product manager, part marketer, part evangelist and, perhaps most importantly, can see how to take a nascent program and make it huge. This person can communicate the technology, encourage partner relationships, and set up communication vehicles that help make people successful at developing using LinkedIn APIs.
and compare it with my professional profile- and you'll see why I was interested :)
However this my post is just to tell you I am in shock that LinkedIn can not easily find a good match for such an exciting Job Offer! Be cool San Francisco Bay techno-geeks!
