Following the buzz on the candidates forum. A copy is there. Or better the copy is here of what is there. Well... it is here and there anyway.
1. The difference between a moderator and the site administrator: Moderators control the users. They moderate the content published by them and prevent abuses. Administrators watch for moderators to act as they are requested and do a lot of other things to keep the forum up and running. As the consequence of the difference described an Administrator can unwillingly create content that will be moderated.
2. Where moderators and administrators come from? Moderator duty is assigned by the club entity for which a forum was created. This forum is dedicated to elections and we have an executive committee that controls all the related activity. Administrators in contrast are not voted here. There are historically two site administrators, me and Andrey Golub. It is not a privilege it is our day-by-day duty.
Anyone wishing to join the administration team - is always welcome. He will need first to demonstrate his technical skills and spend some time in the IT Team to prove his capacity.
3. Offer. Since there is a lot of buzz about this section moderation I officially candidate for moderation. My neutrality and Internet dependence should do the trick.
I think that all said by Michael here above is very correct and corresponds also to my vision of how this had to work also for Milan-IN's Elections of 2007.
so my vote is YES, I think Michael's involvement to this game could make the "war" a bit more civilized :)

Appoggio anch'io la candidatura di Michael.
Ne approfitto per chiedere al CD di garantire lo spazio sul Forum anche ai candidati aggiunti.
Ho già avuto modo due giorni nel mio forum di scrivere come fossi felice di avere Michael come moderatore. lo scrivo anche qui augurando a Michael buon lavoro.
ps: appofitto per chiedere a Michael come mai nel forum a me dedicato sono stati cancellati e da chi tre post, scritti giovedì in sequenza il primo proprio da Michael, il secondo da Marco Marzagalli ed il terzo da me. grazie.

E` stato cancellato giusto perche' ci sono le regole definiti per questo
spazio sul forum: Questo spazio è stato pensato per essere una "vetrina delle idee", quindi ogni candidato è tenuto a scrivere solamente nel topic con il proprio nome. Per i dibattiti e scambi di opinione useremo i nostri blog personali.
Inoltre propongo creare un spazio sul forum per le discussione relativi alle elezioni
P.S. non mi piace quando cancellano qualcosa che scrivo. Ma anche non mi piace stare fermo quando il semaforo e` rosso e non c'e' nessuno. Ma ci sto. Sempre (mah... quasi).

Appoggio Michael e la domanda di Roberto, a patto che vicino al mio nome venga indicato il mio ruole di candidato presidente. Se cosi' non avviene Roberto e altri candidati tardivi dovranno accontentarsi del forum cosi' come io mi accontento della mia originaria (pre-fattaccio) candidatura a consigliere).
